The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 一个非常合格的小成本商业片，套在这样一个历史真实事件下去讲述，哪怕我们不是非洲人，也能快速的感受到那个时代世界所带来的歧视以及反抗，因为黄种人也好，地域歧视也好，我们谁又能说没经历过那种不平等的对待呢
代入感很强，很刺激万万没想到的是那结局还以为会抵挡第二波攻坚，结果自己走出去了

电影很喜欢，是每年都想重温的那种。虽然我觉得拍成悲剧也不错...仅从艺术性上看（悲剧美学爱好者）

自由的代价高昂，这部电影在冲突中走向共识，底层人民的握手言和却无法让上层满意，因为他们要的就是冲突来巩固他们的统治。内奸的戏份对于剧情来说有些许多余，但依照事实改编，可能也无可奈何。
