The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 同性恋真的很挑，这电影都只有6分。比所谓豆瓣神片《以你的名字呼唤我》强得多，这才是这个时代应该多拍的同影。
另外很喜欢的就是 同性恋圈内种族 阶级 性别气质歧视没有被匆匆带过 一直在让人感受到那种不舒服

不思进取的gay people。酷儿题材进入大制片厂体系也意味着的酷儿文化被好莱坞收编、先锋性失落的必然，其背后是美国酷儿被资本主义机器驯服的现实。纵使再有解构反讽的抖机灵，也不过是回光返照和遗产罢了
看得出来预算有限，但是这也不是拍成流水账的理由。作为极地探险片，没有拍出惊险刺激的感觉，雪橇失控和遇到北极熊都拍的中医中矩。而后半段作为绝境求生片，没有把绝境下的资源匮乏、心理煎熬拍出来，感觉一直有燃料和食物，在屋子里等就好了，而且突然做个梦就跑回去拿冒险笔记也是没有给出一个理由，令人费解。
好无聊好模式化，戴眼镜那个长的也太像偷着乐了，导致看的时候更没心情了。
