The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 把剧情穿插到一战前后的历史中。牧羊人组织是个搅屎棍，枪杀奥地利公爵引发英俄德开站，又使用手段逼俄退出战争，用女信徒勾引总统的录像吓唬美国好让其不参战，好让德国摧毁英格兰……剧情太扯太难看了。
一股土土的气息，而且都是老土的反战故事，这是kingsman的起源也实在太让人失望。动作戏不优雅，丧失了这系列的味道。
我至今仍然忘不了《王牌特工：特工學院》當時帶給我的興奮感，幾段精彩的動作戲依然能清晰記得，然後，續集是令人失望的，唯一的記憶點是Elton John的神級客串，至於這一部前傳，則壓根不應該存在。從《X戰警：第一戰》到《王牌特工：起源》，10年間，Matthew Vaughn對於戰爭的思考，從對人類間的信任危機退步到如過家家般愚蠢幼稚，在歷史是可操控和不可控兩種史觀之間的反復橫跳，而延續系列前兩部的父子情刻畫也顯得潦草，更讓人失望的是惡意賣腐，治腿的一段戲已經讓我產生生理不適了。
真心一手好牌被打烂。为数不多的亮点来自暗杀“妖僧”时，动作、舞蹈、《1812序曲》的完美结合。在串联历史事件的同时，历史人物也变得过于脸谱化，尽管有诸如“feeling good”“looking good”“manners maketh man”之类的经典台词悉数登场，更多只是让人怀念第一部的酣畅淋漓。牧羊人组织的动机、资金来源一概忽略，也给人一种不打算好好叙事的感觉。
白人想当然的一些alternative叙事

印象最深的就是毛子妖僧的战斗神舞了。。。最无语的是阵地那段。。。
马修的恶搞现代性太强，一百多年前的一战真的装不进去。这是用汉堡的烹饪技法做小蛋糕啊。不过评论区里也是奇观，列宁和普林西普就不能恶搞了你家规定的啊？高中历史书你当圣经么？
好恶搞and男主也太丑了。剧情稀烂啊，感觉kingsman的招拍要被玩坏了。
这个到底什么鬼畜！和第一部的距离差的太远了吧！
架空历史的起源故事和热衷于发便当和仪式感的编剧，让这部王牌特工的起源故事无功无过勉强及格。但我不喜欢，相比于古早的刀锋绅士对决，我更喜欢现代科技下的枪林弹雨视觉轰炸。
大英绅士乱入一战前后大事件，问题是这些梗都不够有趣啊，或者说都是导演的恶趣味居多。暗中扰乱世界的反派头子的基地是一个羊圈，手下的武装力量也约等于牧民，这也太草了吧。到头来，不过是又一个无聊的续作。
狗尾续貂，架空历史，逻辑不同……儿子牺牲时候就已经气力全无……从炫技派代表到如此地步，三部曲，不好整也可以不整
4.4 态度很明确，在历史的胶片前嬉闹，可对于主角与反派乃至宏观世界的塑造未免也太不痛不痒了点，通过无意义的死亡来描绘人物是典型的无能表现，动作戏也大都笨拙的不像话，编导和演员一样有心无力。
大戏拍得挺好的 我也不太懂一战历史 所以这昏昏欲睡的历史戏谑实在是没啥吸引力 男女演员方面都有不少喜欢的人 可惜大家全程也都不知道在干嘛 王牌特工最引以为傲的爽快感和不可一世之感一点都看不见
虽然我很早就猜到big boss，但并不影响观影。
如果是类似《独裁者》那样的纯恶搞黑色幽默风格也就算了，这部影片中还到处照顾政治正确，简直又当又立，动作场面也不出彩。
别人都是坏B,就你家人好，我咋那么不信呢。
本以为系列要走下坡路，结果意外的比第二部好很多。
