The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. THE Freebie is an insightful and humorous look at love, sustaining relationships , and the awkwardness of monogamy when the haze of lust has faded.
The script is a dud (again), characters are underwritten, some gestures don’t seem to have any purpose, there is conflict between what shows and what means. Camera work is the only bright spot, but you can also argue that he sacrificed the content for the form.

惊悚外衣包裹下的逐梦悲剧，而悲剧的力量又突破了惊悚外衣的束缚，最终沉淀下的仍然是悲剧。
就是感觉好乱，女主不敢睡觉，脸色惨白顶着大黑眼圈到处跑，二次出租车没撞到，第三次老头却被撞死了。。。
相当失望的“恐怖片”。看了半小时，一点吧恐怖啊？看了一小时，艾玛啥玩意！前半还行，复古到位，看点全在安雅身上，一到女主就拉垮得不行，演技对比太强烈了。安雅在去年《后翼奇兵》大热后就接了这一部，也是够逊的。配乐不错，男配好多余，最后的杀戮莫名其妙，就酱~~
一直都挺喜欢的两位新生代妹子，风格迥异但同样地充满灵气。。从开始镜像蒙太奇的惊艳到最后反转的有点意思，中间其实还蛮boring的，就是两位妹子的精彩飙戏阻止了每一次快进的企图。。

AlderwoodAMC杜比确实震撼，时不时的鬼魂剧情配上音效吓死个人。第一次看电影时坐电动沙发很是舒服。喝药女主突然和小黑开车令人无语。结局的反转令人懵。现实中的女主真水灵。211030

你们不要对埃德加赖特要求这么高嘛……拍的没什么问题，他一直都是在拍这种东西啊，只是机巧的情节就是没劲，但国产电影里不都想做这种机巧还做不到嘛……
火场里抱紧Sandie好温暖，最终获得了救赎吧这是。镜子舞蹈那段不错。
我知道这个不是推理片，但60年代那么多命案都查不到她头上？逻辑上太说不过去了吧。女主全程毫无胜算也看得人很难受。

双女主，girl helps girls。故事文本上有些bug，追看线也比较弱，但通过华美视听，竟然都能掰回来，而且观感还不错，确实体现导演功力。美术加分，乐品极好，第一次的穿越舞会闻到一丝盖茨比的气息，全片对镜子的使用花样百出，完美的串起了女主和sandie的视角转移，引领观众进入故事，产生同情。
